To be fair, you’d have to be insane to look at that entourage and decide this person was worth attacking. I’m wondering if a scene is coming up where someone is thinking of pulling something, then sees two of the most dangerous looking guards, and decides not to risk it.
To be fair, attacking Elim wasn’t a great Idea eizher for zheir long term healzh. Crazy be crazy.
Maybe not, but humans are the most common species. They don’t naturally have a scary appearance like a snake with scythes for arms or a woman that’s half dinosaur and has giant claws.

That’s a great idea. Training with it will also be a good way to start forming a relationship with the Kattajak, the patriarch of hunting.
It’ll be interesting seeing the Enclave’s reaction to Isher and Kalgkur.
I just realized. Shouldn’t Kalgkur be wearing a House Ivenmoth flag? I’m sure such things already exist for if/when Baxxids are doing work for House Ivenmoth. Or even a plain red flag like what he wore during guard duty. At the moment it would be easy to mistake him for a random civilian that happens to be walking with some Ivenmoth personnel, which would significantly reduce the deterrent effect of having him in the entourage.
Yeah, that would make sense. Maybe they put it on outside?
Kalgkur’s broken fin hasn’t been sanded or replaced. That makes sense; Nell probably couldn’t finish her idea for it in the short time Kalgkur had to visit her this morning before setting off for the enclave (see #338-341). Gotta do some quality work for that one!
Man, while I completely agree that Elim is a perfect guard with his combat experience including fighting while injured, while I understand that both Isher and Kalgkur wish to be as pacifist as possible, it all makes sense! That said…from the outside, there is NO ONE crazy enough to beef with that dangerous looking duo…actually…there IS one, man I kinda worry about what might happen now…
Conversely, I’m pretty sure they would actually kill for Kass, If they had to, but they probably wouldn’t. Remember that the two of them would shrug off that injury that put Elim in the infirmary.
To add to that, Kal will probablr coil around Kass at the first sign of danger.
Amused that Val also came back and added the red flag to Kals head here. I guess that’s part of what he meant when he said he was ready to go.
