Ivenmoths aren’t the tastiest things, but their abdomens are pretty meaty, and the huge local population means that few people go hungry, so long as they’re prepared to put up with the taste.
That isn’t an issue for the yinglets, however, who regularly eat far worse things.

Was the dark red ivenmoth on her head a female moth? I got the impression that it might have been slightly stoned.
Wait. “Munch Munch”? Later on it’s shown that Yinglets with Kass’s dental configuration can’t chew.

It’s quite a simple matter to crush some foods against the roof of your mouth using your tongue. Try it with a potato chip, some pasta, or potato salad. Given what yinglets can do with their tongues (as shown later), I’d be surprised if their tongues aren’t stronger than ours.
