Is it just me, or does Isher look more feminine than she used to?
Looking? unclear. Still looks the same, or is that still looks different? But acting? Well, it is only polite to agree with the lady that something didn’t happen no matter how clearly it did. And scratching a dog is just being friendly. [of course, few dogs want privacy when you are scratching them…]
I think as the style is improving you can see her womanly looks better I mean look back to when she was first introduced to now.

I think it’s just that the art style has improved since first few pages, which is pretty typical as far as webcomics go. Frankly, I have difficulty looking at those first few pages, but recent stuff especially has been great to look at.

We know that Elim doesn’t know what he’s doing, or rather to who he is doing it. Anyone care to guess how Elim is going to feel when (if?) he finds out what he did? We already know Kass is embarrassed. All you shippers out there are jumping aboard way too quickly. Isher’s the worst of them all.
Isher isn’t necessarily ‘shipping’ them, two platonic friends can have a perfect tender moment without it being sexual.
Unfortunately, the art of unsexual tenderness seems to be lost on concurrent generations, with modern interpretation of Gilgamesh serving, perhaps, as ur-example, with cultural norms at the time of Uruk dictating normalcy of usage of kissing as an act of greeting between close strictly heterosexual friends of same sex – which is currently met with one and only one reaction: “oh, they are gay – that’s so cute!”
Even a notion of acting kindly to someone without an ulterior motive, it seems, is completely erased from the conceptual spectra of multitudes, making any act born of simple empathy, therefore, being treated as one of sexual nature most often – probably due to H.Sap being creatures of lust fist and foremost.
Indeed, prevalence of decidedly dis-empathized sexuality, spruced with artificial template substitutes of feelings – ultimately void and senseless, though oh-so-pretty – seems only to play into furthering of this quirk’s severity; and with newspeak on the rise, reopening of that particular venue is quite unlikely.
After all, one can not think of thing one has no word for, and with complete dictionary and thesaurus already present, one has not need to think, eliminating most wide-spread reason for headaches – just ctrl-c/ctrl-v something from the recent trendy pamphlet, and you can mimic thought process without the need to actually straining your nerve ganglia. And we all know that Plato was alt-right sexist, so there’s that.

I’m not sure of the part “… to who he is doing it.”, as he is calling him Kass on page 104…
@David On page 104 Elim is somewhat conscious but a bit loopy from the drugs. He does call Kass’ name but he also recognizes that Kass is a ‘scav’. His eyes are open. Here on page 108 Elim calls Kass a ‘fluffy little doggy’, obviously not conscious enough to even get her species right. He thinks he’s petting a dog and is unaware that he is in fact petting Kass. This time his eyes are closed.

We are all assuming the love of scritchies holds true for all Yinglets. There is not enough sample data. We need to see how males and females react. Lopin needs to be scritched. So does Vizlet, and Lippie and F
Also, I’d like to point out that in comic 58 Isher also came running to help Kass when she thought there was trouble.
And in comic 51, Kass asked how was he supposed to get his back scratched with the long (assumedly less bendable) arms.
That face in panel 4 is one of ‘I shouldn’t be enjoying this but I don’t want it to stop’, it’s the first time she’s been touched other than being picked up or puked on or patted or punched.
She’s got a good grip on the bedding too. Feels sort of intimate because of that.
Isher is top tier wifey material and yet almost no one in-universe can see this.
It’s the lead in those cups at the beginning of the story, it must be.
Isher is awesome, and Kass was a complete moron to miss her advances prior to the comic.
I absolutely love the little detail of Isher’s fingernails….claws? Talons? Whatever they’re called dimpling into her palms in the second panel. For some reason, that really made my day.
I”m not actually sure that Kass is ENJOYING the scritching, based on her expression in panel 4 that looks more pained/Ugh/WhyIsThisHappening than blissful. Posture looks less like Kass has put her butt up voluntarily and more like she braced her legs after Elim grabbed her upper torso down to stop her from being pulled further, leaving her in this awkward position.
None of that means this isnt still a precious, tender moment as drugged-Elim acts all cute, but I don’t think this comic shows Kass as having ‘given in’ to the treatment. Just my interpretation!
I was about to write exactly the same thing. Kass was grabbed by Elim (YEEK! Inthe second panel) and Isher come to se3 what happenwd. Kass is embarassed by what happened, so asked to forget what Isher saw.
This works on dogs because it’s the one place they can’t scratch themselves. It may be the same with Yinglets.
I think Kass is enjoying the scratching because she didn’t ask Isher to free her, she asked Isher to close the curtains so the scratching and cuddling could continue in private.
As for why a happy Kass would be grimacing and grabbing the sheets… If you have to ask, you’re too young to know. 😉 Or maybe asexual. I hear that’s a thing these days.
I had a dog who could reach there with her teeth. My mother had to get a cream to get her to stop chewing.

That ‘too young’ statement is right on point, I wish I had thought to say it first. As for asexual, it’s always been a thing, just never been anybody’s business before. Seems to me that hanging your genitalia out to public view has become a thing these days.
Could be you’re right. Could be that her eyes are rolled back in her head. But … if she was unwilling, why is she not pushing to get away.
Because, as explained in an older comic, a 5 years old human is stronger than a yinglet. I’m not sure it was 5 years but it was not much more than this. And maybe because who grabbed him is just Elim. I think Kass is in that position because (s)he is trying to escape from Elim. “Nhhhgh huff” is the sound (s)he made while trying to escape.
+1 to what Yanosh said, with the addition that you can see the faint ‘tension’ lines around legs/arms that indicate shaking limbs, and the hands grabbing the sheets – so one could reasonably say that it shows Kass straining to get away and failing miserably due to the aforementioned strength difference. Possibly also leverage difference in this case, given that Elim basically has Kass in an upper body hug/hold.
So why did Kass send Isher away instead of asking for help gently extricating himself from Elim’s grip? As for those tension lines, have you ever had someone scratch your back just where you needed it scratched? Recall how maybe your arm shook or you arched your back into the scratching?
Kass could be more embarrassed by Isher seeing him like this than he is concerned about breaking free – him not asking for help doesn’t mean he technically consents to the situation, only that he values Isher leaving more than he does his freedom from Elim’s grasp.
Likewise, those tension lines could be like a cat arching into the scratches, or it could be him struggling to get away, or it could just be an instinctual reaction to the stimulation and not under Kass’ control at all. I’d say the third is most likely, and the first least likely – it’s *Elim*, so Kass probably doesn’t feel terribly threatened, but at the same time, who likes having their dude friend touch their ass? I’d certainly feel really awkward and want the touching to stop, even if it felt good.
It’s entirely possible the tension lines are what you describe – an entirely different kind of shaking, which would be even more embarrassing for Kass to admit. So to be clear I’m not shooting down that interpretation as impossible or anything.
As my take on for why Kass just asked Isher to leave instead of asking for help: Right now Kass feels she owes Elim *massively*. Therefore 1) she doesnt want to hurt him emotionally by rejecting him or being mean (which asking someone else for help would do), 2) she doesnt want to hurt him physically (which is what it would take for Isher to extricate her right now), and 3) on some level the masochistic guy side of her can see ‘suffering through this’ this as repaying part of the debt because it’s clearly giving Elim comfort. Depending on how clearly Kass is thinking in the moment, there may also be 4) not wanting Isher to have to see Elim like this because it’ll be hard for Elim to live down later if someone OTHER than Kass saw his behavior – which is further supported by asking Isher to forget seeing it. Because the strait-laced Elim is already going to have a hard time living this down later.
Now, watch the next panel be Elim getting even more ‘grabby’ to the point where we see Kass’s voice squeaking, “Wait no changed my mind Isher could use some help here please! Oof, E-elim, settle down buddy, ISHER ARE YOU STILL HERE?!?” :p Comedic scene in my head anyway.
I just had another thought: Kass sent Isher away because she was embarrassed at being caught acting like a yinglet. Kass might have become caught up in the moment and didn’t realize how she was behaving until Isher burst in.
As for Elim becoming more grabby; I think Elim is a kind and loyal soul and should Kass struggle it will wake Elim enough for him to realize he has something pinned and he will relax his grip. Masochistic guy side? Really? That’s insulting.

1) Is Elim awake/aware enough to know what he is doing?
2) Is Kass trying to get away from Elim?
3) Does Isher consider this event to be purely platonic?
4) Does this have an effect on the plot of the story? Does it even matter?
5) Is Valsalia laughing out loud at all this?
