Seems to me that one of Isher’s problems (illustrated in this comic page) is that she was introduced into Val Salian society from a Male viewpoint. She was in love with the male who did this at the time, so she went along with it (Kassen Akoll) but never really got mentored in customs of the area. Her History is something that we can only guess at, but obviously she needs as much help as the now female Kassen at taking a stab at getting along in a society she don’t quite fin in.
Kinda wish she could hire the barkeep or someone similar, perhaps the Baxxid Kuldra for a very fun night of education, as its what she really needs, someone to learn from.

Another way to put “Regular” is last time she was there, Kassen Akoll was still Human, which places her crush on him in a entirely different light if she was trolling for dudes at the time then. The fact she comes back enough to be considered a constant would suggest, considering some of Isher’s self-issues, that she’s yet to experience humiliating failure. I’ve no doubt there’s been some disappointments, but not actual failures.
