Great comic, love how Kassie has that whole ferret flexibility thing. And out of curiosity is the ability to make the th sound a side effect from having the neck turned around or is it a unique mutation from Kassie formerly being human. I hope it’s a mutation and Kassie becomes the only Yinglet capable of pronouncing the th sound. That would up her standing which is already quite high in the Yinglet community. Cause lets face it the ability to pronounce the th sound would be the holy grail in mutations for Yinglets.
No, the Yinglet holy grail mutation would be enabling a female to produce a more even gender ratio of babies. It would be a huge deal both for their rate of reproduction and their eugenics, as right now they kind of have to accept any bad but nonlethal mutations in a female. Plus it would make it way easier to avoid inbreeding.

I’m feeling Cass’s pain right now. Right in the gut.

Pretty sure it’s a consequence of having your two front teeth fused into a single tooth.
Also, having basically no other teezh makes it difficult to enunciate

Depression and anxiety are not signs of weakness.
They are signs of trying to be strong for too long.

That last panel is just the best ever. It’s the sound of iron breaking.
