Holy shit… this is getting kinda scary.
Hell that’s terrifying. And yet that little glimpse of Yannit inside of all the terror and fear and instinct.
Isher and Kalgkur may be the most physically capable of helping stop Yannit but …
And something I noticed rereading the last page. Kalgkur’s foreclaw is shaved and trimmed, but in Yannit’s vision, it was fully grown and barbed. Eeven if our Kalgkur is a pacifist, Yannit instinctually and by-cultural-training-trauma sees them as anything but.
I thought the same when I first glanced at the last comic, that the extra jaggies were Yannit’s conditioning making it look more menacing, until Apple_Boy pointed out just how close the claw tip is to Yannit’s “face,” and now I feel like the enhanced jaggies are just due to how the claw surface must look naturally when magnified to that degree.
Shame about that uniform. And also Yannits “irises/pupils.” I hope they come back.
Yeah I didn’t think it’d be a violent response, just panic or protective.
Would be pretty funny if Kass shows up, chides her like a bad dog, and she snaps out of it.
